What you'll do
- Assess technical compliance requirements for new and existing consumer electronic products to EU and UK regulations and directives.
- Support product documentation including constructing risk assessments and reviewing test lab reports.
- Effectively communicate and work with various stakeholders (internal and external) to gather relevant documentation to collate and maintain technical files.
- Review product engineering changes and their potential impact on technical compliance and where necessary, ensure that any measures required to maintain a product's continued compliance are implemented in a timely manner.
- Support quality approval testing on new designs.
What you'll bring
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and directives applicable to consumer electronic products such as LVD, EMC-D, RED and EcoDesign
- Experience with ensuring UK and European products comply with applicable legislation.
- Clear communicator capable of exchanging information and ideas across multiple levels and disciplines of internal and external stakeholders working in a cross functional role.
- Experience of liaising with test labs and managing the test process from drawing up a request for quotation to signing off the final test reports
- Knowledge of EMC and RF testing
- Experience in writing and reviewing technical compliance-based risk assessments.
