Occupational Therapy- Band 6 (would consider experienced Band 5)
Rapid Response OT
Location: Taunton
Start date- ASAP
End date- 5+ Months
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday Full time or part time (min 3 days a week)
- 08:00 - 16:00 (some flexibility in hours/shift patterns)
Skills/Experience:
- We require someone who can work in the community to rapid response to patients needs- so flexible and adaptable no 2 days the same
- Admission or quick turn around from And E department .
- Need to be flexible and adaptable to work streams they are required in.
- Car owner and driver essential.
- Skills and knowledge within community working and or acute services. Will require a broad range of skills and experience within care of the elderly, medical and complex case management. Ability to work remotely and as part of a team and be flexible with case load working.
- To ensure service users recovery goals and plans are at the centre of Occupational Therapy practice and fosters skills and confidence of people to enable them to live as independently as possible
- Part time working considered
- Professional assessments and care interventions within legislation and the COT and HCPC practice requirements
- Manage, supervise and support staff as required
- Contribute the skills, knowledge and performance of the OT team
- Ideally looking for West side of somerset so Taunton/Bridgwater area covering of wider patch will be expected in time of service needs
