Regional Crop Manager- 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Are you passionate about agriculture and eager to support growers in achieving excellence? We are seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Crop Manager to join our clients team in the East of the UK.. You will have the freedom and flexibility to be home based mixed with being on the road.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Regional Agriculture Manager in delivering strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with the Crop Management Technician to provide timely, accurate, and focused crop intelligence throughout the growing and storage cycle.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with growers and grower groups, offering technical and commercial support.
- Drive the focus on crop quality improvement within the grower base
- Oversee the ordering process for crop seeds, conduct quality inspections, and manage any complaints.
- Provide growers with agronomic guidance to optimize crop production, yields, and quality.
- Ensure growers input required crop records into the management system and compile crop store plans.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience working with growers in a quality/agronomic capacity.
- Knowledge of agriculture and crop production.
- Strong planning and quality management skills.
- Relationship management skills.
- Computer literacy and data analysis capability.
