You'll be reporting directly to the hands-on Financial Controller, who's dedicated to mentoring and developing his team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Management of the purchase ledger
- Conducting supplier statement reconciliations
- Processing payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Supporting with financial reports
- Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations
- Collaborating on profit and loss calculations
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant / Finance Officer / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant
- A confident and enthusiastic manner, happy to listen and grow quickly
- A strong desire to learn and pick up new skills
- Knowledge of Sage 200 is desirable but not essential
