This role is crucial in defining and implementing the product vision that contributes directly to business success. You will be working on innovative software solutions in a dynamic environment that supports our clients focus on decarbonization and energy transformation.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Engage with customers, prospects, and stakeholders to understand their needs, translating these into actionable plans for the development team.
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams to ensure product goals are achieved.
- Define user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritise the product backlog, and maximise customer value.
- Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to promote continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to enhance user experience.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Measure and analyse product performance indicators to make informed decisions about future developments.
- Conduct demos of new features and functionality for internal and external stakeholders.
- Write and maintain product documentation.
- Provide input into marketing and sales initiatives.
- Analyse data and feedback to inform decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, ideally in the Energy Sector.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe 6.0).
- Exceptional analytical skills and experience working with data to inform decision-making.
- Proven track record of leading products from conception to market.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Proficient in project management software such as Atlassian (Jira).
- Fluent in English; German language skills are preferable.
