Position: Primary Teacher/Tutor for Individual Students with Complex Needs
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Teacher/Tutor to provide one-to-one instruction to three individual students with complex needs. The students are currently in Year 2 and Year 6 but are working at an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) level. This role is ideal for a teacher who is comfortable and skilled in working with different age groups and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised and engaging one-to-one instruction to three individual students.
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on educational strategies.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student confidence and growth.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with children with complex needs and at different educational levels.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS curriculum and ability to adapt it for older students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping students achieve their potential.
Hours and Compensation:
- Hours are negotiable to fit the successful candidate's schedule.
- Planning and preparation time will be paid in addition to teaching time.
- Competitive pay rates ranging from £25 to £35 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
