Accounts Assistant | L/Derry area
Reed Accountancy and Finance is partnered with a North West based organisation, in the appointment of a permanent & full time Accounts Assistant.
With a solid trading history, our client is an established company in the FMCG industry.
The role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller within a small accounts team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining Cashbooks and cheque Journal
- Analysing all transactions through the business bank accounts
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Nominal Reconciliations – SL, PL, Expenses control nominals.
- Intrastat Returns
- EC Sales Returns - VIES
- Various VAT returns
- Diesel Rebate Submissions
- Approval and Payment of expenses.
- Assistance with preparation of monthly Management accounts
- Making various high value payments for Supplier and Wages payments
- Nominal Journal Posting
About you:
1 years' experience in a similar accounts role
High level of attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills
