I am working with a world-renowned Entertainment venue, seeking a Deputy Head of Property and Facilities to ensure the effective, safe, and compliant operation of their physical estate. This role is pivotal in supporting the Trust's vision, purpose, mission, and goals, and requires a collaborative approach across all teams.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Oversee the estate's maintenance, repairs, and restoration projects, ensuring urgent requests are handled promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Coordinator, Chief Engineer, and Building Surveyor to complete projects to a high standard and within timelines.
  • Develop long-term preventive maintenance plans and asset protection strategies.
  • Establish and maintain procedures and policies for efficient work practices and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage external contractors, ensuring standards, timeframes, and budgets are met.
  • Foster efficient processes and communication within the Facilities Team and the wider organisation.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, keeping them informed on project progress.
  • Promote a culture of high-quality customer service, technical skills, and health and safety awareness.
  • Introduce key performance indicators to report on activities and manage resources effectively.
  • Oversee major projects, ensuring smooth operation and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Certified FM Qualification
  • NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent Health and Safety qualification
  • Experience in managing major capital works and refurbishment projects
  • Listed building experience
