Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business near Dewsbury who are looking for an Office Manager to join their team. This is a ‘hands-on' role where you will be expected to handle a diverse range of responsibilities including a mix of finance and procurement duties. Full time (40 hours) and part-time (35 hours) will be considered.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process sales ledger invoices
- Credit control
- Statement reconciliation
- Check and process supplier invoices against purchase orders
- Procurement – all purchasing on behalf of the business
- Assist the Finance Director with main contract tender business
- Drive cost savings through negotiation to pursuit best value for money
- Investigate and resolve account queries
- Tax vehicles
- Billing for storage
- Assist in the implementation of new systems
- Ad hoc/admin duties
You will need to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Part AAT qualified (desirable)
- Strong organisational, time management and multitasking skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
