Our Cheltenham-based client is looking for an experienced purchase ledger/accounts payable professional with background in leading and managing teams. As a line manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the AP department and help its development and growth.
Some of your responsibilities would include:
- Management of day-to-day AP Team (5)
- Monitoring the accuracy of high-volume invoice processing
- Reviewing monthly KPIs, ensuring the implementation of action plans
- Process improvement and development
- Project managing the integration of new technologies.
- Acting as the escalation point for any AP operational issues
- Ensuring compliance with company accounting procedures and internal control standards
