QUALITY ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - £30 PER HOUR - BOLTON - 6 MONTHS (EXTENDABLE) - HYBRID - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW ONSITE
MERITUS are recruiting for Quality Engineers to join our client in Bolton on an initial 6 month contract to work on exciting defence programmes.
You will join the Non-Conformance team providing support to the Manufacturing teams in the UK
Responsibilities
- Frontline provision of non-conformance management supporting the Manufacturing functions, including the administration of non-conformities and containment activities
- Collation and analysis of non-conformance data through the business tool, Google NLP
- The collation of business KPI's
- Data analysing to include CQN (Rework/Scrap), returns and yields
- Facilitating Practical Problem-Solving activities, determining Root Causes and the effective implementation of Corrective Actions
- Supporting the successful transfer of new products into manufacturing, analysing historical data and using lessons learnt
- Facilitation of non-conformance meetings
- Managing Customer concerns and escapes
Skillset/experience required:
- Ability and confidence to report to all levels of the business
- Strong Practical problem-solving skills
- Good planning and organising skills
- Previous quality experience
Desirable
- Qualified to minimum HNC/HND/OND/ONC or degree level in relevant subject
