Position Overview: As a Progress Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our students on their educational journey. Working closely with a team of passionate educators, you'll help create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support and guidance to a small class of 7 or 8 students, understanding and addressing their individual needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans that promote academic progress and emotional well-being.
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and evaluations, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, respected, and supported in reaching their full potential.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and external stakeholders, building strong partnerships to enhance student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students with SEMH and other complex needs is essential.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices and restorative approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Relevant qualifications and/or training in education, counselling, or a related field.
