We are currently seeking two Senior Auditors for our client, one of the world's leading financial institutions. This is an excellent opportunity to join their London office on a 6-month contract basis.
As a Senior Auditor, you will play a crucial role within the EMEA Global Banking and Credit Risk Audit team, collaborating with teams across regions. In this hybrid working role, you will be office-based three days a week (preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), with the flexibility to work from home the remaining days. You will be responsible for conducting audits, developing audit plans, executing high-quality audit tests, and documenting the results accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop audit plans based on a thorough evaluation of process and business risks.
- Execute audit tests independently and maintain ongoing interaction with stakeholders.
- Engage with business partners to identify potential issues and control gaps.
- Draught high-quality and timely audit reports, sharing results with audit and business principals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Ensure timely completion of audits.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Global Transaction Banking products and associated risks (Role 1) or M&A advisory and Capital Markets products (Role 2).
- Background in Internal Audit, front office, or risk management in the Global Transaction Banking business.
- University-level education from a recognised institution.
- Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CFA, FRM, or CIA are desirable.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and engage with senior management.
- Excellent risk assessment, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals at all levels of an organisation across regions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
