Reed is actively seeking a Class Teacher for an independent special school, dedicated to supporting young people with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs, alongside Speech, Language, and Communication Needs. Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to students with SEMH and SLCN, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Implement the school's core values of Equity, Resilience, and Togetherness in daily activities and teaching methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching strategies and student outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and adapt to the evolving educational needs of our students.
- Engage with the wider school community to promote participation, strengthen relationships, and uphold high expectations for behaviour and personal development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience in special education, particularly with SEMH and SLCN, is highly desirable.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and motivating students and colleagues.
- Ability to plan and deliver lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.
