We have an exciting opportunity for an Enrolment Officerto join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. In return,you will receive a competitive salary of £26,432 - £28,210 per annum.

About the role:

As an Enrolment Officer,you will lead on the accuracy, compliance and processing of student data and enrolments, providing expertise to ensure the College meets ESFA funding rules and regulations. You will specialise and lead on Adult Skills Employability programmes, incorporating the end-to-end process from admission and enrolment, through to registration and exam certification.

Responsibilities as our Enrolment Officer will include:

  • Take a lead role in the end-to-end enrolment process, including data capture, application of correct funding waivers and processing of payments from learners where necessary
  • Lead on the completion of full eligibility checks for learners prior to their enrolment
  • Maintain up-to-date expertise and knowledge of changing ESFA funding guidance, including eligibility requirements and funding waivers; and provide necessary training to colleagues
  • Support the Enrolments and Exams Manager to ensure accuracy of our student data input and funding compliance, helping resolve ILR data validation errors and audit reporting queries (e.g. PDSAT's)
  • Ensure the College is fully audit compliant with enrolment paperwork, including timely signed learning agreements
  • Coordinate and train colleagues on processing student data transfers between courses / study programmes and/or withdrawals where required
  • Coordinate and delegate the enrolment call queue, ensuring calls are assigned, answered and followed up in a timely manner
  • Timely registration with awarding bodies of all learners enrolled on employability programmes
  • Take a lead role at College enrolment events, actively supporting with planning and training, ensuring robust and accurate data capture, in line with GDPR

As our Enrolment Officer, you'll ideally have:

  • Level 2 (or equivalent) English and maths
  • Experience of manual or electronic systems for recording data
  • Experience of funding regulations within Further Education
  • Administrative experience in a busy office together with front line customer service experience
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Use of a sophisticated data record system
  • Knowledge of ESFA funding rules and regulations
  • Expert knowledge of eligibility requirements for learners in Further Education
  • Attendance at College events; e.g. open evenings, including outside of normal working hours
