Your new school
A nursery school in the Wolverhampton area is looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join them in September. This nursery school has a great ethos and community with a great family feel. They are upbeat and enthusiastic in a positive environment to ensure all children and staff are happy and safe. It's an open nursery school (free flow).
Your new role
The role is working within the toddler's room with children aged 3-4 years. You will be supporting colleagues and working as a team to provide safe, caring and stimulating work for all children. You will be working with groups of 8 children with SEN needs such as global delay, non-verbal and additional needs.
What you'll need to succeed
- Either Level 3 Nursery Specific qualification (full relevant).
- You MUST have experience working with children with SEN.
- Have worked in a group situation with children with varying needs, including global delay, and non-verbal
- Confident in preparing and delivering high quality activities in line with EYFS outcomes.
- To have recent and relevant experience in the role.
- Be confident and offer encouragement.
- Use your own initiative and be observant.
