Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of English to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work in collaboration with a reputable secondary school in the Solihull area, starting in January 2025 on a full-time basis (or earlier if possible).
As a Teacher of English with Zest Education, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and educating students in a vibrant and supportive learning environment. Key responsibilities:
- Plan and teach engaging lessons that motivate the students in your subject and cater to the needs of diverse learners
- Mark and assess students work and track student progression
- Have excellent curriculum knowledge that continues to develop with the advances in the subject - particularly the new and engaging ways to teach English as the subject continues to evolve.
- Have strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
To apply for this role, you will need:
- QTS - Qualified Teacher status in English (ECT's, formerly known as NQT's, are encouraged to apply)
- Excellent subject knowledge of English in Key Stages 3 (KS3) and 4 (KS4) is essential
- Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
- A strong school reference from your recent employer/placement
