As the Strategic Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic direction of the charity organisation. Working closely with the Charities Executive Board, the Board of Trustees and other key stakeholders, you will be responsible for building the foundation of the new charity and driving its plan for growth and impact in the healthcare sector.
Our ideal candidate brings extensive senior or executive leadership experience within the not-for-profit, and health sector or healthcare-related initiatives.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, Part-time 2-3 days per week.
The role duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead on the development of the strategic plan that outlines the goals, objectives, and activities of the new charity.
- Develop and implement
- underpinning for the new charity.
- Maximising Financial impact and opportunities and developing strategies that produce solid Financial outlooks
- Prepare the plan to lead, develop, and support a team of highly engaged professionals committed to the new charity's mission and values.
- Working with Directors, contribute to the continuing development of programmes and initiatives that will address the needs of charity members, and the healthcare needs of patients and the public.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including members, supporters, volunteers, staff, trustees, and external partners.
Person Specification;
- Substantial experience in delivering a high-profile national service or programme. This includes overseeing delivery, operational planning, monitoring, budgeting, managing delivery and meeting KPIs.
- Significant experience of leading the development and delivery of peer support and community development services.
- Experienced in strategic planning and execution, particularly in change management, delivering visions into tangible results.
- Significant experience of change management and driving high performance.
