The role:
As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary contact for customers seeking advice, vehicle servicing, and repairs. You will manage the flow of information between the workshop and the customer, ensuring an outstanding level of service at all times.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure customers receive top-notch service and are informed of all available products and services.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Initiate and maintain customer records, follow-up systems, and ensure documentation is accurate.
- Estimate and Communication: Provide customers with estimates and promptly notify them upon completion of the work.
- Accurate Invoicing: Ensure all jobs are invoiced correctly, especially those under warranty or goodwill submissions.
- Invoice Presentation: Prepare and present accurate invoices to customers, facilitating smooth payment processes.
- Workshop Progress Monitoring: Keep track of job progress in the workshop and update the service reception on any delays or issues.
- Technical Guidance: Offer advice on mechanical and diagnostic queries as needed by technicians.
About you:
- Customer-Facing Experience: Strong interpersonal skills with a background in customer service.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to plan, organise, and meet work deadlines effectively.
- Information Processing: Quick to assimilate information and provide thoughtful responses.
- Adaptability: Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to change.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in work.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in PC and web applications.
- Driving License: Full clean driving licence required.
- Automotive Service Experience: Previous experience in retail automotive service is preferred.

**Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00am to 18:00pm - NO Saturdays
