Finance Manager (Part-Time)
OA are working with an established charity organisation, searching for a Finance Manager to join their team on a Part-Time basis.
Finance Manager – Job Details:
- Part Time - 20 Hours per week
- £45,000 - £50,000 (full time equivalent)
- Permanent
- 30 days annual leave (pro rata), enhanced pension scheme

Finance Manager – Main Duties
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Complete quarterly VAT returns
- Compile annual audit documents
- Develop and implement finance policies with the Director of Operations
- Manage the sales ledger: invoicing, credit control, and new customer accounts
- Oversee the purchase ledger: invoice processing, BACs runs, direct debits, and new supplier accounts
- Weekly financial statement reconciliations
- Reconcile online card payment batches
- Handle late payments, staff expenses, and assist with payroll
Finance Manager – Skills & Experience
- Professional accounting certification or qualified by experience
- Minimum two years' finance experience
- Experience with audits and working with auditors
- Proficiency in month-end processes and reporting
- Skilled in using finance software (Xero, Sage, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of charity finance and double-entry bookkeeping
- Strong IT skills, particularly with spreadsheets
