Category Manager | Reading | £45,000 - £50,000 per annum | Perm | Hybrid (2 days per week in Office)
Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in Reading, to recruit a Category Manager on a permanent basis.
A strong background in Public Sector procurement and excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills are essential.
The role offers a hybrid working policy; with 2 days per week required on site for meetings in their Reading office.
Role:
- Responsibility for reviewing contracts
- Run end to end tenders
- Develop procurement policies and implement procurement procedures
- Research new products, highlighting areas of improvement to stakeholders
- Authorise any new contracts and lead on change management initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders and assist with stakeholder engagement
Individual:
- Previous Public Sector procurement experience is essential
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
