About the Job:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for over 1000 employees. You will also handle a variety of reporting tasks using payroll and HR data, contributing to business management information needs. Acting as the first point of contact for payroll queries, you will also support the HR and Finance teams in delivering payroll reports.

Duties will include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely payroll for all employees.
  • Preparing and delivering monthly board reports, scorecard reports, and weekly KPIs.
  • Managing statutory payments, deductions, and RTI reporting.
  • Uploading monthly pension contributions to relevant portals.
  • Calculating adjustments for new starters, leavers, and job changes.
  • Cross-training with the HR team to assist with HR administration.
  • Supporting compliance with auto-enrolment regulations and pension management.

About the Successful Applicant:

You will have previous payroll experience, proficiency in Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables), and a strong understanding of PAYE and auto-enrolment regulations. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Knowledge of payroll and HR systems is crucial, and CIPP qualification or working towards it is desirable.
