REED Technology are delighted to partner with a Software Organisation who are looking for a Technical Support Team lead with a passion for technology and a collaborative spirit to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join and lead the support team. The successful candidate will be an active and valued member of the support team, providing support on our products and be committed to delivering quality service to our customers.
Full training will be provided on the support function and product configuration. You will also have the opportunity to learn and be a part of so much more in our growing organisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be responsible for handling customer support calls, including successful resolution of standard application issues and thorough technical analysis of non-standard support issues. Non-Standard support issues will require informative reporting to the software development team for resolution.
- You will oversee the daily running of the support team and be a point of escalation for the team.
- You will assist with the delivery of GETGOT and Hark configurations under the guidance of the of the operations team.
- You will be responsible for the delivery of bespoke development projects under the guidance of the software development team.
- You will responsible for the configuration and maintenance of interfaces.
- You will provide assistance, as required by the quality assurance function, on all company products (Application Testing).
- You will provide assistance, as required by the business, on maintaining its ISO accreditations.
- You will be responsible for monitoring the support team's progress and development.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a technical support role
- Excellent Oral & written communication skills
- Computer and keyboard typist skills
- Planning and organisation skills
- Initiative, personal drive and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
- Possess GCSEs at C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications, such as Level 2 Essential Skills in Numeracy and Literacy.

- Knowledge of Databases
- Experience with working on servers

- Experience in a team leader role
- Experience with a ticketing system
- Experience in a software organisation
