Financial Controller
Based: Liverpool
Salary: up to £60k + benefits + progression
I am working with a fantastic, rapidly expanding Ecommerce business looking for a Financial Controller to join their dynamic finance team. This position will offer wide ranging exposure across financial operations, compliance, accounting whilst providing strategic financial insights to drive growth & profitability. We are looking for a hands-on, detail-orientated finance professional who thrives in a fast paced environment
Role:
- Prepare and present accurate management accounts and financial statement
- Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to create
- Forecasts and variance analysis with budgets annually vs actual performanec
- Working with CEO, MD and SLT to drive business growth and opportunity UK and overseas
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions and ensure timely and accurate month-end
- and year-end closing processes leading a team of 3
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, creating a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and high performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and efficient
- Enhancing system and processes internally to be more efficient and scale-able
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modelling to assess the performance of various product lines and geographical markets.
- Identify financial risks associated with international operations and develop policies to mitigate these risks, particularly related to currency fluctuations and compliance.
Experience:
- ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant.
- Retail or E-Commerce background essential
- Solid communicator and able to present information,
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced SME environment highly desirable
