This well-established contractor specialise in the design and fit out of commercial projects predominantly within shopfitting across the UK. With a large, recognised client base they are reputable in the industry due to their high levels of service and high quality finish. With a relaxed and family feel culture they are now they are looking for a CAD Technician to join the team.
In this role you will be based from the office near Loughborough and work as the sole CAD Technician for the business. You will have autonomy but also work collaboratively with the internal and site based teams to support on all design fronts. You will be responsible for completing detailed drawings in line with industry standards and client specification, preparing detailed layouts, attending design meetings and occasionally conducting site visits. You will also manage deadlines and collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and develop timelines and budgets.
This role is suited to a design professional from a joinery, carpentry background or someone with a commercial construction background. Shopfitting experience would be advantageous but not essential. Full UK Licence is essential.
