We are looking for passionate English Teacher to join the team at a secondary school in March, Cambridgeshire on a permanent basis ideally from September.

This is a full-time role and as a key member of the department, you will inspire and challenge students across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

The school is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher who can infuse the division with new knowledge and approaches and actually make a difference.

Specifically you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging English lessons that captivate students' imaginations, foster a love for English and cater to diverse learning styles through KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Fostering critical thinking and analytical skills through thought-provoking literature inspired discussions and activities
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and enhance teaching strategies
  • Engaging with parents and guardians to ensure a supportive educational experience for every student

To be successful in your application, you will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in English
  • Proven experience teaching English at secondary level, with a track record of student success
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for inspiring young learners
