Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team occupational health team in Aberdeen. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and delivering complex projects within the energy sector. Your ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage resources, and drive successful project outcomes will be essential.

Responsibilities

  • Follow a standard process, as defined by a professional project management organisation, such as
  • the APM (Association for Project Management) or the PMI (Project Management Institute)
  • Initiate the project - check feasibility and work out budgets, teams and resources.
  • Carry out planning - this will include setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing

schedules and timelines for tasks - in accordance with the needs of your client. Some tools, such as

Gantt charts, can be used to create a visual project plan.

  • Select, lead and motivate your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organisations.
  • Manage the project - which includes coordinating the project team to keep them on track and

keeping the project on budget.

  • Carry out monitoring and control activities in order to track the progress of the project.
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Coordinate project activities, including risk assessments and stakeholder management.
  • Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with technical experts, vendors, and clients to achieve project milestones.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in project management, preferably in the energy industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
