Envision Education are currently looking to appoint a School Receptionist for a secondary school in Southall starting September 2024. The ideal Receptionist would have experience within a school setting with knowledge of SIMS.
The role:
- Be able to confidently answer phone queries and direct inquiries
- Schedule appointments of visitors whilst maintaining security of the school by monitoring access
- Accurately maintain attendance records of staff and pupils
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the reception area
- Adhere to a wide range of policies, procedures and standards in a customer focused service department
- Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
- Have relevant skills and experience dealing with children who have Speech, Language and Communication difficulties
Requirements:
- Available to work Monday to Friday 8:30 to 16:00 -full time
- As school receptionist you are required to have experience within a school setting
- Have SIMS (School Information Management System) knowledge/experience
- Be willing to commit to the role long term
- Have a valid child only enhanced DBS
- Live within a commutable distance
- Have an excellent verbal communication skills
- Have SEN experience
