Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, organise, and present top-notch Spanish lessons to pupils in Key Stages 3-5.
  • Examine, grade, and offer constructive feedback on a student's work.
  • Create and execute lesson plans that follow the National Curriculum.
  • Keep an eye on and assist student's general growth and development.
  • Ensure that student performance records and reports are accurate.
  • Take part in professional development events, parent's evenings, and departmental meetings.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive learning atmosphere in the classroom to encourage participation and success from the students.

Required skills and experience for the Spanish teacher role:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to get one).
  • 2 proven professional references.
  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Need to be an expert on the subject.
  • Spanish proficiency is required.
  • Having exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills to manage a school.
  • Prior teaching experience in Spanish at school.
