Job Description:
As a Newly Qualified Accountant you will play a crucial role in the finance department, providing essential financial support and ensuring the accuracy of their financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors
- Oversee cash flow management and financial transactions
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor project costs and budgets
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Newly qualified ACA (ICAEW)/ ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to learn and develop
