As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher to join our close-knit team at Manor House School in Horsham.
About the role
Under the reasonable direction of the Senior Management Team, carry out the professional duties of a school teacher as set out in the current School policies;
Uphold the professional code of the conduct;
Teach in accordance with the ethos, organisation and policies of the school as a fully committed member of the teaching team and as detailed in the specific duties and core standards below
Essential
- Degree in Education
- QTS
- A Willingness to undertake training
- Good literacy and numeracy
- Full Driving Licence
Experience/Knowledge and Understanding
- Experience of working with young people with complex needs, preferably in an education
- Experience of working with students with SEMH needs
- Experience of delivering high quality PSHCE lessons across Key Stages 1-4
- Understanding / knowledge of Safeguarding
- Understanding / knowledge of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Understanding / knowledge of assessment tools
- Understanding / knowledge of local and national learning strategies
