  • Up to £42,000.00 per annum (Salaries reflective of London Fringe)
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher to join our close-knit team at Manor House School in Horsham.

About the role

Under the reasonable direction of the Senior Management Team, carry out the professional duties of a school teacher as set out in the current School policies;

Uphold the professional code of the conduct;

Teach in accordance with the ethos, organisation and policies of the school as a fully committed member of the teaching team and as detailed in the specific duties and core standards below

Essential

  • Degree in Education
  • QTS
  • A Willingness to undertake training
  • Good literacy and numeracy
  • Full Driving Licence

Experience/Knowledge and Understanding

  • Experience of working with young people with complex needs, preferably in an education
  • Experience of working with students with SEMH needs
  • Experience of delivering high quality PSHCE lessons across Key Stages 1-4
  • Understanding / knowledge of Safeguarding
  • Understanding / knowledge of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Understanding / knowledge of assessment tools
  • Understanding / knowledge of local and national learning strategies
