Position: Senior Information Governance Officer

Duration: 3 months with possible extension

Overview:
Are you an experienced Information Governance professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Senior Information Governance Officer to join a Council based in the Southeast of England. This role offers the flexibility to work hybrid or fully remote, depending on the candidate's preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct privacy, risk, and data impact assessments.
- Address data breaches, manage complaints, and respond to Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) inquiries.
- Supervise and maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).
- Prepare and evaluate data sharing and processing agreements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Information Governance roles.
- Significant experience in managing data breaches and privacy risks.
- Demonstrated ability to draft and manage data sharing/processing agreements.
