Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for an opportunity with a well-established, friendly organisation?

We are delighted to be supporting our client in their search for an experienced purchase

ledger clerk to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the ledger. Reporting

to the Assistant Accountant you will be a key member of the finance team and your main duties

will include:

  • Process supplier invoices and credit notes onto the system in a timely manner. using the appropriate program to ensure complete and accurate supplier records are retained on the ERP system.
  • Maintain complete and accurate supplier records ensuring compliance checks are carried out as necessary.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Ensure timely payment of suppliers using BACS and some cheque payments.
  • Scan, attach to records and file all documents in an accurate and timely manner to enable fast and easy retrieval.
  • Assist with queries from suppliers and colleagues.
  • Assist with any ad hoc tasks as required.

About you:

  • At least 2 years' experience of maintaining a Purchase Ledger.
  • Professional and organised.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good excel skills.
