Solutions Consultant

The Solutions Consultant is a catalyst for driving the companies' innovation and growth through cutting-edge technology solutions. This dynamic role takes charge of a critical segment of our solutions portfolio ("Employee Experience," "Client Experience," "Process Excellence," and "Data Driven.") As the go-to expert and passionate advocate, the Solution Consultant(s) champion their assigned solutions, ensuring they deliver transformative value.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Play an active part in the development and execution of the legal technology strategy, in accordance with the vision.
  • Participate and present at industry events and forums and showcase the firm's achievements and initiatives in legal technology
  • Optimise the performance and functionality of a defined part of the solutions portfolio ("Employee Experience", "Client Experience", "Process Excellence", "Data Driven Firm")
  • Drive adoption of solutions within a defined part of the solution portfolio and establish root causes for any poor solution uptake.

Internally developed solutions
Facilitate the agreed maintenance and support strategy for home-grown solutions within a defined part of the solution portfolio (this may mean supporting self-developed solutions).Externally developed solutions

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with external technology vendors and service providers.
  • Support the negotiation and management of contracts, service level agreements and performance indicators for vendors.

Deployment of New Solutions into the CoLab Solutions Portfolio

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of holistic innovative technology solutions that address the current and future needs and challenges of the firm and its clients.
  • Development involves the usage of low-code / no-code technology.

Proactively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of these solutions
Key Skills and Experience:

  • 4 years of experience in legal technology, innovation or digital transformation, preferably in a law firm, legal technology provider or technology consulting practice.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in law, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • A proven track record of driving and managing successful technology projects and initiatives, from ideation to implementation and evaluation.
  • A deep and specialized knowledge of a specific area of the legal technology landscape, such as document automation, contract lifecycle management or artificial intelligence, as well as the best practices and standards in the industry.
  • A high level of proficiency and experience in using and leveraging the Microsoft PowerPlatform, as well as other relevant technologies, such as document automation, contract lifecycle management, artificial intelligence, e-discovery, knowledge management and data analytics.

Highly collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across different functions, levels and locations.
