Senior Audit - leading Accountancy firm - Canterbury - ACA or ACCA

The right Audit Senior candidate will possess the ability to apply critical reasoning to provide insight into audit work and the clients themselves, as well as demonstrate good interpersonal skills to build and maintain working relationships with clients and other team members.
The successful Audit Senior candidate will be able to use their initiative and manage their own time and have the ability to adapt to changing conditions to meet deadlines.

The role consists of:-
Managing statutory, client account audits and similar.
Managing significant non-audit clients.
Across a range of industries, including large international groups.
Working closely with partners and clients

Managing client audits and assisting with complex corporate audits for the firm, using computerised audit systems
Providing general assistance to the junior audit and business service team members
Planning of audit assignments, taking responsibility for achieving agreed budgets and meeting client deadlines.
Setting objectives for PQ/Graduate junior staff and supervising on-site teams including reviewing work and coaching on the job

The standard hours for this position are 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate should:
Be ACA or ACCA qualified.
Have a minimum of 3 years' audit experience.
Have the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Have a high standard of spoken and written English.
Possess good computer skills, particularly Excel.
Have excellent organisation skills with an eye for detail.
Have the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage several projects at once
