Eden Brown Synergy has an exciting opportunity for Registered Manager for Children's Residential Care services around Nottingham.
The Registered Manager is to ensure efficient day-to-day running of the residential care services accommodating EBD services users (children 8-15 years) and x1 semi-independent living (16-17 years).
The ideal person for this Registered Manager position would be passionate about working with children and young people creating a safe, comfortable and caring home environment.
- The Registered Manager would be accountable for delivering high quality care within the homes, ensuring the care and progress children make is outstanding.
- Responsible for the delivery of quality care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the homes and all day to day management matters.
- Lead a team along with other professionals providing care and support needed for each individual child focused on obtaining the best outcomes.
- Act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change.
Requirements:
- Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in leadership for Health and Social Care services (Children and Young Peoples management qualification).
- Within the last 5 years, worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children and worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role
- Knowledge of Ofsted Inspection framework and , Quality Standards,
- Strong knowledge of legislation and safeguarding procedures such as the Children Act 1989, the Children's home regulations (2015) and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
- Knowledge of management of budgets and staff rotas
- Highly driven, proactive and enthusiastic leader.
- A strong people manager with a hands-on approach.
- Fully committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
- Full driving licence is essential.
- Ability to work flexibly and carry out on-call duties.
