This position is full time 9:00-5:30 Monday to Friday

Quality personnel are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our lovely client based in Olney. This role would report directly into the Financial Controller and would work in a small team of three. The successful applicant would accurately maintain the administration of purchase and sales ledger accounts and Purchase Orders for the Group to ensure the financial performance of the business can be determined on a regular basis.

Due to location, you will need your own transportation.

You will be responsible for day to day tasks such as, raising purchase order for suppliers, using inhouse CASH system. Processing, posting and reconciling supplier invoices and payments using Sage 50. Raising sales invoices, assisting with the credit control function, debt collection and allocating receipts are amongst your duties.

Attention to detail and ensuring accuracy are required as well as supporting other team members.

  • Previous experience of working in Accounts in a similar role
  • Sage 50 experience
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed
  • Enthusiastic, committed and adaptive with previous experience of a busy environment
  • Ability to work with individuals across departments and liaise with external customers and contact
