Reed Engineering are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician needed in Reading, Berkshire for a full-time role. The successful candidate will assist with daily maintenance tasks and reactive repairs in a hospital setting. Responsibilities also include Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), general repairs, and participation in an on-call rota.
Day to Day of the role:
- Assist with daily maintenance tasks and reactive repairs.
- Maintain and update décor throughout the hospital when required.
- Undertake PPM and general repairs.
- Participate in an on-call rota one week in four.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Utilise fault-finding skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Work well under pressure and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Tradesperson or maintenance engineer experience
- Entry-level City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations
- Good fault-finding skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Full clean driving license
