Software Management Team Lead | Manchester - Hybrid | £50k + bonus
I am looking for a Software Management Team Lead to oversee and guide a small technical team responsible for managing our client's software assets. Your primary focus will be on leading your team, ensuring that all software within the organisation is well-managed, compliant, and up-to-date.
In this role, you will coordinate the tracking and maintenance of all software used across the business. You'll ensure that software is properly documented, easily accessible, and aligned with business needs. Strong leadership and communication skills are key, along with a solid understanding of data management, particularly using SQL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and support your team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Software Management: Oversee the tracking, updating, and organisation of all software within the company, ensuring everything is compliant and correctly documented.
- Process Improvement: Work with other teams to streamline software-related processes, including upgrades and replacements.
- Data Management: Use SQL and other tools to analyse software data and make informed decisions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with various departments to ensure their software needs are met and communicate updates effectively.

- Proven leadership experience in managing teams.
- Strong understanding of software management principles.
- Experience with SQL and data analysis.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
This role is ideal for a motivated leader looking to make a significant impact on our software management practices while guiding a talented team. You'll need to bring your strong people management skills and experience of managing and tracking software assets.
In return, you'll receive a salary of up to £50k, plus an outstanding bonus. You'll need to be on site two days per week (with occasional travel to their head office further afield).
