A prosperous Media Agency is currently recruiting a Revenue Accountant to join their finance team of 6 for a 12 months contract that could be extended or even go perm!! You will be working with another Finance Analyst and report to the Financial Controller on all client finance matters.
The role would ideally suit candidates with some previous billing experience but it will come down to the right person with the right skill set, communication and drive.
The Role:
- Revenue posting and reconciliation, preparation of accrued/deferred revenue schedules
- Oversee, assist and approve billings
- Monthly Commercial reporting including utilisation or client profitability, supporting Financial Controller with Resource Forecasting
- WIP management and analysis to ensure that all third party costs are billed on a timely basis, costs from the suppliers are on the correct jobs and that WIP jobs are reconciled and cleared down
- Hold regular WIP meetings with client services teams
- Review payment runs with commentary for Financial Controller approval
- Raise invoices for intercompany recharges
