Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £35k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with an industry leading provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services to Commercial, Industrial, and Educational sites. They are now seeking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts across East Anglia. You will be carrying out various Water Hygiene / Legionella services including but not limited to water sampling, temperature monitoring, CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections, TMV servicing, and calorifier inspections. This role would suit someone who is looking to take a step back from traveling across London and is looking to work predominantly in East Anglia.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Sudbury, Stowmarket, Ipswich, Felixstowe, Harwick, Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea, Diss, Thetford, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth, Newmarket, Ely, Huntingdon, Cambridge, Saffron Walden, Bishop's Stortford, Norwich, Downham Market, Wisbech, King's Lynn, Swaffham.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Experience working extensively firsthand as a Water Hygiene Engineer for a reputable water hygiene company.
" Will be able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Familiar with updating onsite logbooks.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Able to work in line with company and client deadlines.
The Role:
" Carrying out routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
" CWST inspections, cleans, and disinfections.
" Carrying out flushing of little used outlets.
" Servicing of TMVs and failsafe testing.
" Closed system sampling and analysis.
" Calorifier inspections.
" Dosing of closed systems upon completion of analysis.
" Cleans and descales of showerheads.
" Carrying out work in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of water hygiene services.
