Management Accountant, Cambridge
£55,000- £60,000
This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a leading organisation in Cambridge. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will take on a varied role with responsibilities including management accounting, financial accounting, business partnering and financial analysis. You will be given the opportunity to really add value to the organisation from a financial perspective.
The organisation offer hybrid working of 50% office and 50% remote.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Production of monthly management accounts.
- Preparation of financial statements
- Budgets and forecasts.
- Financial analysis using Excel and Power BI.
- Supervising purchase ledger and sales ledger.
- Presenting financial information to board and senior management.
- Partnering with finance and non-finance colleagues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Significant experience in the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and management accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in managing or supervising a team is desirable.
- Business partnering mentality/experience with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial colleagues.
