Finance Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a highly recognised family run business, is going through a significant period of growth and are looking for a Finance Manager to assist their current financial team, with their day to day duties. The successful candidate will need to be an experienced finance professional and typical duties will include:
- Daily banking reconciliation
- Processing customer refunds
- Sales and purchase ledger month end process
- Managing aged debt
- Producing monthly sales reports
- Daily control account reconciliations
- Reconciling sales order accrual accounts
- Producing year end accounts for accountant
- Allocating BACS payments to customer accounts
- VAT reconciliations and HMRC submissions
- Preparation of supplier statements
- Monthly payment of suppliers
- Completing monthly profit and loss reports
- Supervision of purchase ledger person to check prices and payment terms
- Managing utility contracts
- Control bank reconciliation
- Reconciling payroll
- Supervision of warranty department credits from suppliers
- Maintaining asset depreciation schedules
- Controlling petty cash expenditure
This is a full time, permanent role with a salary from £35k dependent on experience.
ABOUT YOU
As a Finance Manager, you will need to have the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- Experience within a similar finance role
- Excellent numeracy and communication skills
- Proficient in Excel (essential)
- Strong team player
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Enthusiastic, passionate and committed to delivering an excellent service
- Accounting/Financial qualification advantageous (AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Please be aware this role is FULLY office based.
8.30am - 5.30pm Mon - Fri
