Hours per week: Variable Shift Rota - 21:00 - 06:00 - 40 hours per week

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Cleaning Manager to join our passionate and driven Transport (Railway) Cleaning business on a permanent basis.

As Regional Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for managing the train cleaning service delivery across the Country region. This area will cover Yeovil Junction, Salisbury, Bournemouth, Exeter and Weymouth.

Services are delivered during the night however, on some occasions split shift or day shift would be required.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible and accountable for:

  • Service Delivery, including input (resource, equipment, policies and procedures, training, etc. and output (volumes and standards)
  • Overseeing the rotas and people matters for all employees across the sites
  • Working collaboratively with all stakeholders in your region, OCS Group and the client.
  • Operating costs and working within allocated budgets.
  • Regular reporting on Service Delivery, T&A, HR and HSE.
  • Proactively implement measures to address issues identified and achieve standards.
  • All processes in your region, ensuring that each task and service is delivered safely, efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • A proven track record in cleaning.
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Knowledge of the Transport Sector, ideally Rail.
  • Experienced in implementing, reviewing, and achieving the standard for safety, quality, time, and cost.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing Budgets, HR Procedures, Discipline, H&S and operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to operate and build credibility with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent diplomacy skills combined with the confidence and resilience to handle potential conflict situations.
  • Relationship building, Customer Care, Self-development, Leadership, Decision-making techniques, Problem-solving, Initiative/lateral thinking, HSE experience, Interpersonal, Planning and Organisational Skills, I.T. Skills (Microsoft), Strong understanding of HR.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
