A school in Edgware are looking for a Management Accountant for a 9-month temporary assignment.
Reporting to the Finance Director this role will provide additional support to the finance team. It will be a varied role and will suit an experienced management accountant.
If you have worked in a school this would be highly desirable, but candidates will be considered if they have the other relevant experience required.
Main duties of the role include:
- Ensure accurate annual and monthly reporting of transactions including journals, prepayments and accruals.
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Variance analysis
- Support the audit
- Assist with monthly payroll
- Support with the purchase ordering system
- Assist with general day-to-day tasks of the finance function
- Support with the implementation of the new procure to pay system
- Support with the introduction of VAT accounting
- Review fixed asset process looking at process improvement
We are looking for candidates who are Qualified or Part Qualified with experience of accounts preparation. It is expected that you will have experience of VAT and corporation Tax and also be versed in Sage 200 (or similar), Excel and Power BI.
