Embedded Software Engineer
to join the team and business on a permanent basis. The Embedded Software Engineering role be hybrid of 3 days working onsite and 2 days WFH.
Salary on offer:
The salary on offer for the successful
Embedded Software Engineer
is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
, depending on skillset and experience.
Graduate/Juniors and Mid-Level Embedded Software Engineers
with 1-2+ years industry experience are also considered.
The role:
The successful
Embedded Software Engineer
will work to design, develop, test and maintain embedded software for Semiconductor products.
Embedded Software Engineer Key Skills:
- 3-5+ years of industry experience
- Embedded Software programming in C or C++
- Experience of microcontrollers & microprocessors
- Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, SMBus, JTAG
- RTOS Experience - FreeRTOS, ThreadX, QNX, VxWorks or similar
- Knowledge and experience developing platform un Linux or Windows
- Debugging at application and hardware level
- Appreciation of Software validation and verification techniques
- Use of modern SW development workflows (CI/GitLab/makefile/CMake/TDD etc.)
- Good Documentation and presentation skills
