Acorn by Synergie are currently looking for an experienced Storesperson on a temp to perm basis for their client, an award-winning company specialising in cable assembly, wiring looms, and control panels for the automotive, aerospace, rail and security industries.

Job Summary
Our client are seeking a responsible and organised Storesperson to join their team. The Storesperson will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and inventory management systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, booking, storing, issuing and packing products, materials, and supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and locations using inventory management systems.
- Conducting periodic stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy and reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure that materials and products are available when needed.
- Ensuring that all products are handled, stored, and despatched in a safe and secure manner.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse.
- Assisting with general maintenance throughout the factory.
Qualifications
A Levels or equivalent are preferred.
Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role is preferred.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and other warehouse equipment would be a distinct advantage
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a busy environment and meet deadlines
Hours of work
- 8am-5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am-1pm, Friday
- 37.5 hours per week
The pay rate starts at £12.50 per hour and the company offers genuine opportunities for career growth and advancement
