**Job Title: Entry-Level Compliance Analyst

Job description: Full time Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Location - Storrington, West Sussex with potential for hybrid in the future

This role would suit someone who is looking to start or further their career in compliance oversight and monitoring.

Experience as a compliance office preferred but not essential but experience within the mortgage market essential a minimum of 2 years as a mortgage and protection broker or compliance officer for a mortgage related firm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Entry-Level Compliance Analyst to join our team of mortgage brokers. The successful candidate will assist our Head of Compliance in ensuring that our mortgage and protection advice services comply with all relevant regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Monitoring: Assist with regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and findings. Prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Training and Support: Provide support to brokers on compliance-related matters. Report training concerns to the Training and Development Manager for delivery of remedial compliance training.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Customer Interaction: Assist with any complaint investigations or queries related to compliance issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay updated with changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: CeMAP or equivalent preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a compliance role is advantageous but not required. Knowledge of mortgage and protection advice industry is a plus.
