We are seeking a highly experienced Accounts Manager to oversee & manage the transactional teams. The manager needs to know where to delegate responsibility and be able to support, train and develop the team, As well as reviewing processes & procedures & instigating change / improvement where required
Main Responsibilities include
- Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support. o Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs
- Oversee the entire AP process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.

- Supervise the AR process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collection of payments.
Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Prepare and present monthly AP/AR reports to the Head of Finance.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee the expense management system.
- Ensure proper documentation and approval of employee expenses.
Proven experience in AP/AR management, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Excellent understanding of financial processes and controls.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
