Administration Assistant

If you love children and want to work in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment, this position is for you. An Otley nursery is looking to add an Administration Assistant to their team.

As an Administration Assistant you will provide support to the nursery to ensure the highest level of customer care is provided, the nursery continues a good level of profitability and to ensure high childcare standards are maintained.

The role:

  • To welcome children and parents to the nursery.
  • To ensure every enquiry is dealt with using the correct process, from booking a ‘show around' to completion of paperwork and welcoming new families.
  • To manage staff holiday requests and complete staff rota.
  • To ensure all relevant paperwork is up to date regarding staff records, DBS checks, First Aid Courses etc.
  • To implement a stock monitoring system and order stock when needed.
  • To ensure the nursery building is maintained to a high standard, booking tradesman, or organising repairs as and when required.
  • To communicate with parents utilising the email and text messaging system.
  • To be flexible and accommodating to the needs of the nursery.

Salary:

Dependent on experience – between £8.60 - £12.00 per hour

Location:

Otley, Leeds

Hours:

23 – 28 hours a week between 8am and 6pm across Monday – Friday, exact hours to be discussed.

Some flexibility is desirable, for example a willingness to cover holidays for other members of the office team.
